Breaking News: Museum Receives $250,000 State Budget Earmark

This year the Museum of African American History made it into the state budget with a $250,000 appropriation as part of an omnibus earmark for cultural institutions!

This appropriation affirms the Museum’s prominence in Massachusetts’ cultural landscape and is a powerful statement about the importance of our historic sites and the contributions of African Americans in building both this Commonwealth and this nation.

Sen. Dianne Wilkerson provided the leadership for this important investment. We thank Sen. Wilkerson and encourage our friends and supporters to honor her commitment by using this opportunity to increase your commitment to the Museum.
