Hosted by Emmy-award-winning actor Andre Braugher, this one-hour broadcast recounts the moving history of the Robert Gould Shaw and 54th Massachusetts Regiment Memorial, dedicated to the first black regiment raised in the North to fight in the Civil War, and their leader, Col. Robert Gould Shaw.

Through the skillful use of historic photographs, correspondence, memoirs, personal interviews, and by historic re-enactors, Return to Glory brings to life the diverse meanings and simple power of this national historic site.
