The Museum of African American History highlights the powerful story of
community leaders, activists, and ordinary citizens who helped to shape
this nation’s history from the Colonial Period through the 19th century.
Showcasing the contributions of African Americans individually and
collectively, the Museum presents stories that have been largely
overlooked in American history.
The
Museum’s
Education Program serves over 2,000
children annually with compelling programs tied to the Massachusetts
curriculum frameworks.
The Museum is open to the public free of charge.
Make a donation today to insure that the legacy of the black men and women
who committed themselves to securing the promise of the Constitution will
be preserved for generations to come.
The Museum of African American History is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization.
Your donation to the Museum is tax deductible. To make a gift of stock, a
memorial gift or tribute, or to create a living trust, please call the
Museum’s Director of External Affairs at 617-725-0022 x19.
